Wow... I thought winter would be over by now!!!

Snow in March is not that unusual here; it doesn't really get all that warm until April. So, yeah, snow.
So far, the storm is east of us over the ocean. Good for us, not so good for Long Island and New England.

I really thought that spring would hit you guys earlier then us. Guess what our weather reporter just said... winter is coming back and probably snow on sunday.... wth????

We are supposed to get snow this weekend also, but they haven't decided how bad yet. We sure can use the moisture. We are hoping it's not a blizzard, though, as we are having baby calves now.

Good luck with the babies, Cheryl. I hope there is no blizzard. We are supposed to get socked with 7 inches. I don't even know why they say 7 inches- it's so much taller than that when I have to shovel the driveway. Luckily, I don't have to do it often, but I will this weekend because dh is out of town.

Thanks, Rae! I saw where you were supposed to get hit with the storm also. They are talking 6 inches and 45 mph winds. Saturday. I was with my dd thinking she was going to have gall bladder surgery, but when we saw the surgeon, she thinks there is something going on with the stomach and wants to do an EGD on Wed. So I decided to come home for a few days and made it in time for the storm! LOL! DH is glad to have me here to help if it gets bad. In the past, there have been a few calves end up on my kitchen floor if they are born in a storm and get too cold. They are so cute!

Hope the storm wasn't too bad for the baby cows...they are all being born in our area too, they are adorable...wobbeling around and nursing, Love watching them!
